Sweetened date chocolate fondant recipe

Ingredients :

  • 80 g of melting chocolate bar (unsweetened or semi-sweet).
  • 65g butter
  • 60 g powdered date sugar
  • 20 g icing sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • Chocolate spread

Preparation :

  1. Shape individual balls with the chocolate spread and freeze for 30 minutes.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a bain-marie.
  3. Add one egg at a time to the mixture, beating them by hand.
  4. Add both sugars to the mixture and then slowly incorporate the flour.
  5. Butter the 4 molds (chocolate fondant molds or muffin molds), flour them and pour the mixture halfway, place the frozen balls in the middle and cover with the remaining mixture.
  6. Cook at 300°F for 8 minutes.
