History of shakshuka: a traveling dish
Chakchouka (or shakshuka) is an ancestral dish originating from the Maghreb, particularly Tunisia. Its name comes from the Arabic dialect meaning "mixture." Historically cooked in modest homes with available vegetables, it has established itself as a popular, nourishing, and convivial dish. It then conquered the Middle East and even Europe, where it is now served at trendy brunches. Each region adds its own twist—adding eggs, merguez sausage, cheese, or local spices.

About Gluten Free Orzo
Création Delicia's gluten-free orzo is an ideal alternative to traditional pasta. Made with corn or rice, it offers a light and fluffy texture. In this recipe, it's a perfect substitute for bread or semolina, making the dish accessible to those with gluten intolerance while adding a modern twist to an ancient tradition.
The ingredient that makes the difference: Crazy Salt
Crazy salt is a condiment made from sea salt, aromatic herbs (thyme, rosemary, bay leaf), and sometimes spices like chili or pepper. It adds a balanced seasoning to shakshuka, enhancing the natural flavors of the vegetables without overpowering them. A must-have in your kitchen for an instant wow factor!
