Perfect recipe to share!

To create this happiness in your mouth, you will need:

Ingrédients :

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of date sugar
  • 1 tbsp. of vanilla
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup semi-salted butter, melted
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Roasted almonds and hazelnuts
  • Date syrup  (for glazing)

Preparation :

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs for a good 5 minutes. This will make the mixture lighter.
  2. Add date sugar, vegetable oil, melted butter and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and salt.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk.
  5. Place mixture in a piping bag and fill muffin cups.
  6. Bake at 375°F for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Once baked, turn out and let cool on a wire rack.
  8. Since the beige is not very sweet, we can have fun “decorating” it by adding our date syrup like a glaze.
  9. To taste, sprinkle with roasted almonds and hazelnuts!
