To create this happiness in your mouth, you will need:
Ingrédients :
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup of date sugar
- 1 tbsp. of vanilla
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup semi-salted butter, melted
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- Roasted almonds and hazelnuts
- Date syrup (for glazing)
Preparation :
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs for a good 5 minutes. This will make the mixture lighter.
- Add date sugar, vegetable oil, melted butter and vanilla. Mix well.
- In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and salt.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk.
- Place mixture in a piping bag and fill muffin cups.
- Bake at 375°F for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, turn out and let cool on a wire rack.
- Since the beige is not very sweet, we can have fun “decorating” it by adding our date syrup like a glaze.
- To taste, sprinkle with roasted almonds and hazelnuts!
