Crème brûlée with date sugar

crème brulée

A little treat that will please your loved one. A homemade crème brûlée filled with love and flavour!


  • ½ cup of date sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup of date sugar
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons Degla date sugar
  • Chalumeau

Preparation :

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 C (325 F).
  2. Gently heat the cream and vanilla extract.
  3. Whip the egg yolks and sugar until homogeneous.
  4. Gently add the heated cream without stopping whipping.
  5. Pour into 4 ramekins and cook in a bain marie.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  7. Just before serving, sprinkle with date sugar and caramelize with a blowtorch.
