Crème brûlée with date sugar
A little treat that will please your loved one. A homemade crème brûlée filled with love and flavour!
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of date sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ½ cup of date sugar
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons Degla date sugar
- Chalumeau
Preparation :
- Preheat the oven to 170 C (325 F).
- Gently heat the cream and vanilla extract.
- Whip the egg yolks and sugar until homogeneous.
- Gently add the heated cream without stopping whipping.
- Pour into 4 ramekins and cook in a bain marie.
- Remove from the oven and let cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Just before serving, sprinkle with date sugar and caramelize with a blowtorch.
